I have decided to expand the music page beyond my solo project work. So far there are three, possibly four, groups I'll be promoting on here:

Each band will have a listing of what type of genre of music they play, influences, brief history, discography, downloads of songs (full songs or partial demos), tabs (if available), member listing with discription of what each member brings to the band, and possibly news updates from the band members.

Crimson Apparition

In 2005 the Crimson Apparition project was born. Created from a hightened sense of hearing and a new outlook on life, the creative juices flowed like rivers of blood. Since then theory and melody was sought after and studied off and on. Though not the best music anyone has ever heard, it still continues to grow in experience and style.

The Composer

The only concept album of Crimson Apparition's works as of yet; (The Composer) told the story about a man lost at sea. It begins with the first track, "The Disaster", which immediately conjures up a sense of emergency due to the frantic sounds. At about the :31 second mark the song is thrown into a sinking feeling with the ticking of a clock running out on its time. Afterwards the frantic sounds appear again only smoothed out by the calming ending which represents the man washing ashore on a beach. "Solitary Peacefulness" is a fairly happy song where the man is getting to roots with his surroundings, enjoying his seperation from the world, building his new life upon this strange island, but with a cost..."Asphyxia" comes next, his fear builds as night falls. The voices beyond in the dense forest talk to him. He cannot escape his own mind. Hard to breathe. No end; no end in sight. The blackened hope subsides with a "Brooding Horizion"; the spirits his fellow shipmates speak to him and tell him to not give up hope, and to have strength to survive as a true warrior would.

Those of Us Among You

I chat to Matt of "Do-Nothing Drifter" whenever he is available online or otherwise; usually during these times we share songs songs we've created to critique each other and share our progress. At one point we had brought up the subject of working together on a musical project. This had been done before but only to a small extent. I made a chord strum piece (which is actually the "Relaxation" demo off Crimson Apparition's "The Composer" album) and he had put a drum backup to it. It wasn't a perfect mix, but from that beginning came the band "Those of Us Among You". Since then a few other projects have been mixed together. No official full songs have been announced, but hopefully soon.
